About Japanese phrases with (活-katsu)

¡Hola, amigos! (Hi, friends!)

One day, I was getting ready to go to the university and I heard on the news that famous phrase in Japan: 就活 (shuukatsu). 

As many know, this phrase, is an abbreviation for 就職活動 (shuushoku katsudou) =job hunting activities. 

There are maaaaany phrases, using the character 活 (katsu) to describe various activities. 

But .....when I saw the screen....

whaaaaaat !!! ??

The character (漢字,kanji) was not 就活, was 終活!! (Shuukatsu) and it has the same pronunciation.

The meaning of 終(shuu) is 終わり(owari=the end)

So, 終活 :the act of planning for your death. You write down your will, throw things you do not need away, regarding your funeral, inheritance, etc. (character for end).So that the people around you would not have so much trouble after you die.

Omg !! Are you serious ? :0

 On the news they said that during this activity, old people fell into depression because they had to throw their belongings, pictures, memories..... And they begin to see the reality of the end of their lives.

Hmmm, I don't know what to say about it... 

Let's see others katsu expressions that can be commonly heard in Japan these days: 

婚活 (konkatsu), which puts together the characters for marriage and activity to describe men and women trying to meet each other with the goal of getting married (and is an abbreviation for 結婚活動 (kekkon katsudou).

妊活 (ninkatsu): the act of learning about pregnancy and giving birth (character for pregnancy).

離活 (rikatsu): the act of preparing for a divorce.

So, what do you think ?? 

To naming these normal activities of life I feel that all of them are life's obligations...

 Is it necessary to do 活動(katsudou-activities),until last moment of your life??

 

I'm truly admire Japanese people how they work, plan their life and of course, their discipline!! I had learned a lot from them. 

But my latinamerican side said that sometimes are good to do nothing or planing nothing, just... 

  

No! I'm not telling you to live la vida loca (crazy life) all the time! :p

I think the balance is the key of the life.

So, let's find the key to happiness!  :)

春分の日-ピラミッドでの奇跡の日part2

¡Buenos días ! (ブエノス ディアス＝おはようございます)

¿Cómo están ? (コモ エスタン？＝お元気ですか？)

テオティワカンのエキノクシオの記事はいかがでしたか？

２つ目の春分のイベントは、

Cancún (カンクン)からバスで2時間、Chichen Itzá  (チチェンイッツァ＝

水の賢者の住むところ)遺跡に現れる、

Kukulcán(ククルカン=ヘビの神様)の降臨です！

ん？よくわからない？😅ですよねー。

ククルカンの光臨現象は、、、

ピラミッドの陰がピラミッドの階段に当たり、蛇の形を作ります。

蛇の石造は初めからあるので影で出来た胴体とつながり、ククルカン様が天よりピラミッドをつたって下りてくるように見えるのです。

この現象は年に２回（春分の日・秋分の日）のチャンス。

さっすがマヤ文明！それとも宇宙人の仕業？

春分の日-ピラミッドでの奇跡の日part1

¡Holaaaaa amigos!(オラー！アミーゴス！＝こんにちは、友達)

やっとPrimavera(プリマベーラ＝春)が来ましたね〜✨

メキシコでの春分の日には、

EQUINOCCIO(エキノクシオ)と呼ばれる２つの

イベントが開催されます。

この記事では、メキシコシティから北東へ

約50キロの場所にある世界遺産Teotihuacan(テオティワカン＝神々の都市)遺跡のイベントを紹介します。

この日は、奇跡の日と呼ばれ、世界中から約１００万人の観光客がこの聖なる場所に訪れます。

テオティワカンには、太陽と月のピラミッドが

あります。

エキノクシオは太陽のピラミッドの真上を太陽が通る年に唯一の日です。

その日の太陽エネルギーは広大無辺のパワーがあり、体全体にそのエネルギーを集めるために多くの人々が白い服を着ていきます。

ちなみに、太陽のピラミッドは、世界三大ピラミッドのひとつと呼ばれ、高さ65M、底辺225M、世界三大ピラミッドの中で登頂できるのはココだけなんですよ。

最近では、アステカ文明を語ってくれるイルミネーションショーもやっています！私も行ったことないです。。

White day en Japón

こんにちはー！(konnichiwa=buenas tardes) 

Espero ya todos me puedan saludar en japonés. :) 

¿Se acuerdan que celebramos el 14 de marzo en Japón ?

¡Siiiii!, el white day. :p

Como les prometí enseñarles que todos los hombres a los cuales les diste chocolates en san Valentín, los regresan este día, 

¡Taraaaaaaan!

Dos de mis doctores me regalaron unas toallas para secarse las manos, un body splash y un como jugo.

Al parecer en el white day no tienen que regresar chocolates, es más libre. 

¡Algunos ya los abrí! Jeje

Siempre nos regalan chocolates muy buenos pero lo que me  encantó, fue que los doctores te busquen en la universidad para darte tu white day personalmente. :) en Japón para todo tú siempre buscas a los doctores,no ellos a tí. 

La verdad, la verdad, el primer año, no me pareció darle a todos los hombres, ya que gastas mucho y sentía que regalaban por obligación pero ahora comprendo que si piensan en tí, 

solo es cuestión de darles tiempo para que te conozcan, darte tiempo en comprender su cultura y poner atención en sus actos. 

¿Alguien me quiere ayudar a comermelos ?, ¡ Son muchos para mí, solita!

メキシコシティ-交通手段➀

¡Holaaaa !(オラー！＝よ！、こんにちは)

メキシコシティに行く時、どう移動すればいいの？と聞かれることが多いですが、交通手段についてお話させて頂きます！

メキシコシティ内には、路面バス、メトロ（地下鉄）、タクシー等いろんな交通手段があります。

今回はタクシーを選択する方のためでございます！

1番簡単なのは、ホテルの人にタクシーを頼むことです。お値段は高くなりますが、安全です。

普通に外で拾いたい方は、三つのことを確認して下さい！

1)タクシー用のナンバープレートであることを必ず確認して下さい！(プレートタクシーではなかったら偽物のタクシーです。)

こちらが普通の車のプレートです。

2)運転手のID表(運転手の名前、顔写真、登録番号)が窓に貼ってあること。貼ってない場合は、乗らない方がいいと思います。ないと絶対なにかされるとかはないですが、あった方が安全ですね。

3)タクシーメーターが決められた金額でスタートしたのか確認すること。

外で拾う普通のタクシーのスタート料金は8.74ペソ(55.4円)です。車の大きさで異なる場合がありますが、そのタクシーの料金表のシールが窓に貼ってありますのでチェックしてみてください。

1分間で1.43ペソ(9.06円)が上がり、1キロで4.28ペソ(27.13円)ずつ上がっていきます。

また、Taxi de sitio(タクスィ•デ•シティオ)、Radio taxi(ラディオ• タクスィ)等は電話で呼ぶタクシーのことで、お値段が高くなりますがもっと安全です。

Uber(ウベル)は何年か前に携帯のアプリで呼べるタクシーのことです。私がメキシコにいた時、まだなかったので使ったことないので感想は言えないですが、使っている友人はいます。

女性専用のタクシーもあります。

ん？なぜこんなに細かく説明してるの？

それは、私は日本人の顔しているので、メキシコでは観光客としてみられます。

残念ながら私の大好きなメキシコにはお金をもう少し稼ごうとするインチキな運転手さんがいます。

私も外で何回かタクシーを拾った時、深夜料金でスタートしたり、外で拾ったのに電話で呼ぶタクシーと同じ料金だったりしました。もちろん親切な運転手もたくさんいます。

日本のタクシーと比べて、値段はすごく安いので、インチキされても、スペイン語話せないし、時間がない時、着ければいいやと思う方も少なくはないです。

ほっときたくない方のために簡単なスペイン語を教えます。

スタート料金が高くなっていたら、

Su taximetro (ス タクスィメトロ＝あなたのタクシーメーター)って言えば、もう一回スタートしてくれると思います。

ちゃんとみているというアピールなのでインチキされることないでしょう。

それでも、私はシティオのタクシーだからと言われる場合もあります。

そういう時は、めんどくさいので、私は降りてました。

Entonces me bajo aqui, gracias(エントンセス、メ バホ アキ グラシアス＝それでは、ここで降ります。ありがとうございます。)

そして違うタクシーを拾う。

最後にもう一つだけ！

乗る時は挨拶を忘れないで下さい。

Buenas tardes(ブエナス タルデス＝こんにちは)

Buenas noche(ブエナス ノチェス＝こんばんは)

覚えられないのであればオラーでいきましょう！

そして、降りる時はgracias(グラシアス＝ありがとう)

メキシコはお客さんでもお客さんから挨拶するのもとても大切です。

おっと、忘れてたことがあります。夜は22:00以降はなるべく外で拾うタクシーは念のため避けた方がいいと思います。私は暗くなったら外でタクシーを拾ったことがないです。

そして、乗ってからIDが貼っていない等気づいたからって焦らないでください。

三つの注意点は気をつけないよりは、気をつけた方がいいということです。
